Welcome to fifth grade, Parents.  This page will be updated weekly of any important news that you might need to know!

 

*Parents - please fill out conference forms to let me know when is best for you to come in for conferences during Parent Teacher Conferences.  These forms should be sent in no later than Friday, October 10th.  Please keep in mind, I do have 26 students this year and I will do my very best to accommodate your needs, but there may not be a lot of flexibility.  Thank you!

*Book It starts October 1st.  The children have a goal of 250 minutes for the month.  Please initial each day of the calendar along with the number of minutes they read each night.  The October calendar is due November 3rd with the number of minutes read each day and your signature and your child's signature.  Thank you!

 

*Monday, October 13th is Columbus Day - there is no school on that day

 

*10 Book Challenge summary for October is due October 31st..

 

*Milk Money collection will happen every Friday.  Please be sure to send all money in an envelope with your child's name on the front, teacher, and the kind of milk they are ordering for the week.  Thank you!

 

*  Newsletters will come home EVERY Friday with the Spelling words for the pretest on Mondays.  These newsletters will also have grades on them.  They must be signed each and every Friday.  Please check your child's Take Home Folder for these.  These newsletters are a way for me to communicate with you!  Return them to school with your child on Monday's.  Thank you!

 

*  Please check assignment agendas and sign them each day.  Using these agendas is great for communication between home and school.  If you ever have any questions or concerns, please feel free to write them in these agendas so I see them.  Thanks!
