Every Monday new spelling words and new vocabulary words will be sent home.  Please practice the spelling words with your child each night.  Have your child read the vocabulary words each night to you. We have a pre-spelling test on Wednesdays ( if time permits) and a spelling test every Friday.

A math sheet and a reading practice page will be sent home every night as homework (except on Fridays).  The math sheet is a reinforcement to the math lesson taught in school that day and the reading page is usually a practice of the new vocabulary words. Homework is always due back the next day.

If your child is out, a homework folder will be sent home with the assignments missed. Please have your child do all of the assignments in the folder.  Please return assignments missed in folder ASAP. (Please do not leave folder home as we are short on supplies).  Thank you.

Please encourage your child to read each night for 15-20 minutes.
