How to Log On (Understanding the Login Window)

To log on to your computer, using the correct domain, you must do the following.

1. You must type in the User name.
2. Then type your password in the box below.
3. Then select the domain you want in the "Log on to" box (Select "GASD" to log on to the GASD domain).

Pictures are included below, and descriptions of each part is below that.

• The "User name" box is where you type your user name. Normally, in the Greater Amsterdam School District, it is your first initial for your
  first name, and then your last name. It is all one word, and all lower case.
• The "Password" box is where you type in your password. On the GASD domain, normally your password is the same password you use
  for your e-mail.
• The "Log on to" box is the box where you choose what domain you want to log on to. The domain is either the name of the building, or
  the new domain, which is "GASD".
