Topics of World History:

  • Power and Authority - Who rules and how

  • Religious and Ethical Systems - What is the relationship between people and the Spirit World and what is our relationship with each other.

  • Revolution - Change:  What changes and how

  • Ecology - Human/Environment Interaction

  • Economy - How we make a living

  • Cultural Interaction - Culture Contact, Cultural Borrowing, Cultural Diffusion, Cultural Conflict, or Culture Change

  • Empire Building - How the empire was built, how the empire was ruled, and what happened to the empire.

  • Science and Technology - The tools, knowledge, and inventions used by people to survive.

Topics of Geography:

  • Location - Where something is on the planet.  One can use relative location which is where something is in relation to another known location

  • Place - What that location looks like.  Another way to say this is environment

  • Movement - The trio of people, goods, and ideas change locations and affect the face of the earth

  • Ecology - Human/Environment Interaction or how we affect the environment and how the environment affects us

  • Region - The vast areas of the planet that have commonalities such as Latin America where everyone speaks Latin
