Planning Your Program

The following guidelines will help you plan a successful program:

• Establish personal goals.  Even though your plans may change, you should have some general educational, occupational, and personal goals.

• Honestly evaluate your strengths, interests, aptitudes, and needs.

• Find out the requirements for entrance to the colleges, universities, and vocational programs that you plan to pursue after graduation.

• Consult with your parents, teachers, and school counselor in order to benefit from their experiences.

• Select the subjects that will contribute MOST toward helping you achieve your goals.
