Kindergarteners learn about the letter S by eating lunch

Kindergarteners at the Marie Curie Institute got a lesson on letters during their lunch the day before Thanksgiving vacation.

Dressed as pilgrims, the students excitedly ate a spaghetti lunch as they learned about the utensils that are used to make the spaghetti sauce and their squiggly pasta. The lunch also reinforced the letter S for spaghetti sauce and M for Macaroni.

Curie Institute kindergarteners have been learning the letters of the alphabet and this was a wonderful way to enhance these lessons. The lunch helped reinforce the magnet school's theme of engineering because the students were able to see what utensils are needed to make the spaghetti lunch.

This lunch was an educational and fun way to reinforce the letters of the alphabet while tying in the magnet theme at the same time.
