Tecler fifth-graders paint mural on hallway walls

Tecler Arts in Education Magnet School's first mural includes the school logo and silhouettes of teachers and students engaged in various forms of art.

The school's fifth-graders help paint the mural recently during art classes. The mural depicts the new Tecler Logo and then silhouettes of various teachers and students involved in the arts. there are dancers, gymnasts, musicians, artists and actors on the wall.

The next mural will be of the winning entry of a drawing illustrating what being an Arts in Education means to the students.
